Student filmmaker looking for a lead actress for a short, psychological film surrounding the protagonist's decision to have an abortion.
Strong visuals with vibrant coloured lighting and projector images, experimental in nature.
Non-speaking role so will require an actress capable of conveying emotion non-verbally. This film is an emotional journey for the protagonist and will require expressive performance.
The film will be submitted as a final project for the filmmaker's degree and then entered into film festivals before eventually being released online.
Audition / Rehearsal / Production dates
Official shooting dates are the 15th-19th of February 2021 at night.First round of auditions Friday the 22nd January.
Job payment
Unpaid – this is a collaboration opportunity - Student Film (catering provided)
Collaborations should create mutual benefit and are usually amateur, student or 'Time for Print' projects.
Female Lead
Character is often independent however deals with complex emotions throughout the film such as uncertainty, detachment, isolation and shame.

Extras Required for Scene in Short Film
Around 15 extras required for one of the scenes. Will be wearing masks during scene and have about 1 line of dialogue each (overlapping voices). Acting experience not necessary as long as able to follow instructions from the director.
