Feature Film SHAYDA is seeking Iranian-Australians who are native Farsi speakers (fluent in Farsi, based in Australia)

Set in the 1990s Iranian Australian community, SHAYDA explores themes of identity, exile and the cost of freedom for a young Iranian mother at a crossroads in her life.

SHAYDA is the debut feature film for writer/director Noora Niasari. After several award winning short films, and funding from Screen Australia & Film Victoria, she has partnered with renowned Australian Producer Vincent Sheehan (Little Fish, The Hunter)
