Set for a TIE setting, where we will be touring to local schools to spread awareness on the stigma that is knife crime within the UK.
Our story ultimately follows a mass of news reports and statistics within the UK on knife crime, as the show digresses we follow a verbatim formula where real life stories have been included to help add to the realism, the show falls into a story from both sides of the coin from the victim and the aggressor, showing events that lead up to the life or death situations.
Please apply only if you can be sensitive towards this subject and have a passion for educating within theatre, this will be key for application.
Venue: TBA, The aim will be to rehearse over the summer and begin performances in the September for the new school year.
Payment: Each actor will receive a cut of profits made from each individual school, next to this we can also help towards travel costs if needed and food/drink will be provided, the piece will also be recorded for the first and last performance to show improvements, both of these will be available to all actors involved.
