Romina is a young emerging actor who’s just landed a role in a film/ play based on Gustv Klimt’s painting of Judith. She seems to be hiding this and her love life a secret from her dad who’s a very traditional and conservative man. Meanwhile her dad is struggling with an ominous thought in his dreams while preparing to go to her performance and apparently knows about all her secrets. But this might cost Romina a heavy price…
This is a short film consisting of three short separate acts that come together thematically in a very strong visual style. There are references to certain famous paintings that connects the characters and the theme behind the film.
This role we're looking for is going to be Romina's boyfriend.
Audition / Rehearsal / Production datesLate August/ Early September.
There will be one or two rehearsal sessions in late August.
Unpaid – this is a collaboration opportunity
Expenses paid - This is a collaboration opportunity as it is an independent short film but any food and transport costs will be paid.
Collaborations should create mutual benefit and are usually amateur, student or 'Time for Print' projects.

The character is a young man in his prime. He's not too confident and a bit lightheaded with very he is in his life. He's proud and excited for his girlfriend as she's landed a very major role in a theatre play. But he's quite worried underneath as he knows his girlfriend comes from a very traditional family and hence is hiding her acting and dating life from her strict father.
