We're looking for black and South Asian singers to be part of a community choir "flashmob" for presentation of new musical theatre piece.

Rehearsal Tuesday 7th September 12.00— 13.00 (Troubadour Theatre)
Performance Friday 10th September 12.30— 13.00 Hackney Empire
£15 per person for expenses.

The piece is part of a showcase of our new musical On Hostile Ground about the hostile environment. One of the songs “Generation Windrush” is about the men and women who came over on the Empire Windrush to start a new life in the UK. We are looking for black or South Asian singers of any age to be part of the final chorus of this song.

The song we will be presenting can be found upon application.

It is being musical directed by Alan Williams (HAIRSPRAY West End, EVITA Regent’s Park theatre), with composition by Michael Henry, lyrics by Darren Clark and a book by Juliet Gilkes Romero.

Job payment

Unpaid – this is a collaboration opportunity

Expenses paid - £15 per per person

Collaborations should create mutual benefit and are usually amateur, student or 'Time for Print' projects.
