I am starting something of a CAW League (Create-A-Wrestler), with the usage of the pro wrestling games (e.g. WWE 2k19, etc.) To create my characters, gimmicks, storylines and produce my matches.
So, I am creating a Wrestling show with a game for YouTube called International Women’s Wrestling Unlimited. An all-female wrestling company, as I see a rarity of that within Real-life pro wrestling or other CAW shows out there, as I feel it’s a great market to hit and a great way to get more women into pro wrestling and show it off to be something cool (And do so with a game).
It will feature characters of all sorts from every day to anything unique like a cyberpunk, pirate, comic book-esque, or any characters of that nature.
I am looking for writers, that are willing to help me continue to help me create characters as well as help me write storylines, as my forte has always been the matches.
I’ve gotten pretty good at understanding how to structure a match, but I often am poor at writing for characters or putting compelling stories.
While it would be great to have people who know a lot about wrestling, feel free to apply even if you don’t know a lot and are willing to learn. As I am looking for writers of all sorts, I am looking for at least a female writer as sometimes it’s a great way to get a perspective of what characters and stories would do well that involves female characters as the central part of it.
I am looking for any experience, as this would probably be an excellent way for someone to help build their portfolio, as I cannot pay for this. But I am willing to help be a reference and reference those that help (I can make credits and add those who are a part of the production).
Plus, this will be at a casual pace for when producing episodes. There’s no exact date for them, only when everything has been filmed and it’s all polished to go up.
So, this will be good for anyone that wants something casual for a hobby and to help them keep creative.
