The story of the Hiraya people, who harvest light in order to survive within a world shrouded by darkness.

The film will premiere at The Roxy Cinema in Miramar, Wellington and will be viewed by the students and staff from Miramar Creative Centre and film industry guests from Weta Digital, Pukeko Pictures, Fox & Co and more.
The film will posted online most likely via Vimeo.
The film will also be entered into a number of film festivals after production.

My name is Emily To and I am one of the producers of this film.
Our team is comprised of 8 students who started the Master of Design Technology programme at Victoria University of Wellington in February 2021. Producing a short film is our final project for our course.

Audition / Rehearsal / Production datesShooting will take place roughly somewhere between 1st - 14th of November and take around 3 - 5 days.
Unpaid – this is a collaboration opportunity - This is not a paid role as this is a student film. We are looking for someone willing to collaborate. Mocap work can be used in your personal portfolio.
Expenses paid - Catering will be provided. Transportation can be arranged.
Collaborations should create mutual benefit and are usually amateur, student or 'Time for Print' projects.
