Southend-on-Sea, UK. Apply from all UK.
Listed by View details

'To the Nabe' will be intended as a pilot for a comedy television series as characters, along with their distinctive personalities, are introduced. Following our main character, Sam Loomis, we see his filming experience being put into motion. The film will conclude with a better understanding of Sam’s strive to create his film as well as the general love he has for making films.

Influenced by television series such as Black Books, Nathan Barley and Spaced, we want to create a series which depicts strong, distinctive characters living in a slightly surreal world and filmed in a somewhat surreal style.

Will pay for travel expenses.

Location: Southend-on-Sea, United Kingdom

Payment details: expenses paid

Sam Loomis

Influenced by directors such as Ed Wood, our intention is to create a character who is naive and delusional whilst still remaining endearing and relatable to the viewers. Whilst he can be thoughtless and ignorant about problems which don't concern him personally, we feel it's important to capture that passion and love he has of filmmaking.
