I hope to produce a video of the rescue, and hopefully, the rehabilitation progress of a dog that is in a desperate situation. There is a dog in a local rescue in Sheffield that has been saved from an abusive situation, and if not fostered very soon, will unfortunately be put to sleep.
I have received a desperate phone call to help in some way, and I would like to film the process.
As I am a professional dog behaviourist, I hope to find a local foster home in Essex, and work with the dog, to gain its trust, and eventually help it recover, as at the moment it hides in the back of a kennel/cage at the rescue, and is suffering from the trauma.
I feel this will be a heart wrenching film, with hopefully a happy ending. The dog subject is very popular at the moment, with various dog programs being aired on TV. The video will have to be filmed on various dates to monitor the progress, but should finally end up as a very strong story, with a strong human interest. Hopefully it will be used as a pilot for further dog related stories, and I plan to offer it as a sample to TV producers. A TV series is the big aim of the project.
Because we will be working with local dog rescues, and local councils, the project has hardly any budget, but I will do my best to cover expenses, and I am willing to pay a reasonable and agreeable sum for the final edit. If you are an amateur camera operator, with access to digital editing, and like the sound of being involved with a 'ground level' project, then please get in touch as soon as possible, as time is running out for the dog, and we may have to film at the Sheffield rescue as soon as next week!!!

All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
