'Complicity' is a comedy/drama that realistically portrays the lives of university students. It tells the story of 3 females who become unlikely friends upon starting school together in rural Victoria. It outlines the struggles of young adulthood and student life and is a combination between shows such as Girls, Friends and Grey's Anatomy (although instead of being set in a hospital it is set in a university).
At the moment we have a DAY shoot planned on WEDNESDAY THE 19th OF AUGUST where we will be filming a trailer which will be used for promotional purposes. The trailer will capture the first scene of the show which is the acting school audition phase, this will be used as an introductory piece for the characters and will likely be used to pitch to networks, executive producers, and potential investors.
The team is currently looking for a producer that is organized and able to take charge in further developing the project. We are seeking someone who is driven, dedicated and able to take initiative to fit in with our like-minded crew. Presently this role is unpaid, but we have big aspirations for this project. We want someone who is as passionate about making it into a reality as we are. At this stage we are just looking for someone to assist on the shoot of the 19th of August however there is opportunity for this to become an ongoing position for the right candidate.
