I worked as a nursery manager for 8 years. Worked in association with governmental representatives, Social Workers, and Children’s Centres. Was Safeguarding Lead and dealt with all aspects of employment and recruitment, as well as budgets, policy writing and legal compliance. Worked alongside and supported parents from different backgrounds. Delivered training for staff’s professional development and led and organised parents’ sessions.

Worked at Radio Las Palmas for 5 years (Cadena SER). Attended press conferences, presented own music programs, Top 40, News programs, and interviewed local celebrities. Escorted the president of Spain, Adolfo Suarez, on a visit to one of the Canary Islands in 1984, and presented a small village carnival together with one of the local radio celebrities. Acted as simultaneous translator and interpreter for other programs.
