Vocal Instructor 1978 - present. The Peterson Studio of Voice (studied with Margaret Harshaw [Miss Harshaw spent more than 20 seasons rostered with the New York Metropolitan Opera] - distinguished professor of voice, Indiana University. Studied with Marcia Baldwin who also had been rostered with the Metropolitan Opera).

I am a tenor with baritone range with a developed head voice/falsetto which has benefitted me in characterizations, voice overs and in playing characters of both genders.

All State Choir Zone 3B Chairman for North Central Indiana (1989-2001, rehearsal conductor for mixed choir 1989 - 2006), See acting experience for performance, directing and conducting experience in summer stock theater, Indianapolis Opera, and contract as a vocal coach for Talent Fusion Agency in Indianapolis, Indiana for which I also serve as a talent scout.

Past conducting and directing positions include being the music director for the Jackson Hole Playhouse in Jackson Hole Wyoming; Musical Director for Shawnee Summer Stock Theater in Bloomfield, Indiana; Music Director and Day Staff for the Red Barn Summer Stock Theater in Frankfort, Indiana.

I play piano sufficient to accompany, and coach singers in classical repertoire (Italian, German, French, English), Folk Singing, Pop, Alternative, Country, Musical Theater and Opera.

Students have gone on to study at universities, becoming music teachers themselves. Many have performing resumes themselves with community, university and state choirs, winning state and national competitions. I am a member of the Indiana Federation of Music Clubs, for which I have been a contest site judge, and aid for organization, affiliated with NFMC - the National Federation of Music Clubs.
