I am currently a member of the Corofin drama group , in 2019 I appeared in the "Colleen Bawn" production with the Full Moon Theatre company to sold out shows all over the west of Clare, performing four parts, an Irish boatman, a traveller, the Investigating Magistrate (Thomas Spring Rice) and the Judge, so I had to perform four different accents nightly! I had great fun appearing as the dame in the Corofin Hall production of "little Red riding Hood" in 2018 and earlier in the year with Corofin Drama as the Doctor in the award winning and highly acclaimed production of the period drama set on the Aran Islands in the 1830s, "The Cripple of Inishmaan". The production finished fourth in the All Ireland Drama finals held in Athlone in 2017, after appearing in drama festivals all around Ireland. In 2016, I appeared as Freddie, a posh businessman (with a moustache), in the black comedy set in the 1960s " A day in the Death of Joe Egg" touring Ireland on the Festival Circuit. In late 2015, I appeared as Inspector Hound in the Case of the Missing Tiara as a cockney inspector, performed in West Clare. . I appeared in a minor role in their production of the 39 steps which came 5th in the All Ireland finals in spring 2015. I assisted with the summer 2014 productions on sound effects. have completed acting for beginners training with DNA in Manchester also in 2014, I appeared as an extra in a competition film for MMU to advertise Butlins as well as a driver in a short film called "the hitchhiker" , been in an angry crowd scene for a horror movie , appeared on local radio and also helped the BBC with rehearsing a new quiz show format. I have had some experience in amateur dramatics having played a main role in a sold out production of a comedy play "out of focus" with the Neston Players on the Wirral in 2010. Prior to that I have been a role player with my employer acting as a bankrupt for interviewing courses between 1997 and 2007. I also presented on the courses and carried out training. In my teenage years I was in a local amateur dramatic society and played in 2 pantomines and various sketch shows that we put on for the local community in south London.
