I have over 40 years experience in amateur productions on the stage, playing many different characters in musicals, plays, pantomimes, etc. - also murder weekends . I have played the speaking role of 'a Villager' in 'Meeting Bee', a professional production over 5 weeks; I have also been a chorus member in 'The Picture of Doreen Gray' for 3 performances, also a professional production. I was an 'extra' in 'Aida' at the Palace Theatre, Manchester.

I have attended many acting and filming workshops.

I am also a children's storyteller and entertainer and at Christmas I have been Mrs. Claus and also an Elf in Santa's Grotto. I love all types of acting, especially comedy and drama.
I have been a Walk-on and a Supporting Artist in five BBC Films, three ITV films and one Sky film. I have been in lots of short films, in some of which I have spoken a few lines. I have also played an elderly lady, a Tarot Reader and Old Woman in Music Videos. I have played the role of 'Usher' in a film drama., with a few lines to say. I've also played the speaking role of Gran in lots of short films and interviews.

I auditioned for Gotta Dance for Sky l and enjoyed a whole day of filming in my home and also at the film studios. I was told I was a 'natural'!!,

I have been in comedy sketches for a comedy group in Manchester;

I have done quite a few voice-over characters and have taken part in 'Get your Act Together' for ITV 1.

I was a member of Sing and Discover Choir for 5 years. During this time I experienced many exciting experiences, the most amazing of which was singing with the choir on Channel 5's 'don't stop believing'. We were chosen as a Wildcard by the Judges and sang in the finals, live on TV. An amazing experience! The second-most wonderful experience, was 30 of us singing at Disneyworld, Florida, with the Disney singers, orchestra and chorus, in the World Showcase Theatre, to an audience of over 1,000. I am a member of a choir and last year took part in the musical ' Pirates of Penzance' (for the 6th time)! For over 30 years I have sung in the chorus of many musicals on the amateur stage. I have also sung solos in Olde Tyme Concerts and Pantomimes. I used to run a small group of singers (3 of us) who performed at Care Homes for the elderly - I also did the choreography. I recorded singing Waiting at the Church for my audition for Sky 1's Got to Dance, series 5. I play the piano (not terribly well!)

TV & Reality

I have been a Walk-on in the most recent series of 'The A Word' and an 'extra' in 'The Syndicate', both for BBC 1; also an 'extra' in 'Cold Feet', 'Paranoid'; 'The Trials of Jimmy Rose'; 'Butterfly' for ITV; an 'extra' in 'The Five' for Sky 1; and recently 'Life' for BBC. I've also had roles in many short films.

With my choir, I have also taken part in Channel 5's T.V. programme 'don't stop believing', when we were chosen by the judges as a 'wildcard', which enabled us to return and take part in the finals of the programme. We were also part of the T.V. audience.

I have taken part in Sky l's 'Gotta Dance' competition, Series 5, in which I got through the first round in Manchester, but not the second round judged by 3 Judges in London! I was filmed in my home and also all day at the London studios.

I was a Participant in 'Get your Act Together' for ITV 1 and a Contributor in 'The World of Eating Out' for Channel 4 and also in Noel Edmonds 'Sell or Swap' for Channel 4.
