Rose Maher is a Sydney based actor, director, theatre maker and producer. A graduate from the University of Wollongong Rose finished with Honours (Class 1) in Creative Arts, Performance. Rose was the recipient of the Civic Life Residency 2014/15 with Shopfront Contemporary Arts where she directed As I Lay Dreaming by Catherine McKinnon. Rose’s recent theatre performance credits include GODFACE (Matriark); Trojans (Team Mess), Erase (Civic Life 2013), Electra (No White Elephant); Loveplay (PACT). Rose is also a Theatre Fellow at the University of Wollongong in the School of Arts, English and Media where she has lectured in acting and directed scene work. Rose is currently acting & producing an independent production of Kin by Catherine McKinnon. Rose is also an experienced singer currently training under Sally Marett and Syndey's Conservatorium of Music.
