I have participated in musical activities from a young age. Around the age of seven, I learned how to read sheet music during my violin and brass lessons. I joined a classical/operatic choir at the age of nine, which led me to refine my voice and find passion in something that I only thought of as a hobby. At the age of twelve, I auditioned for a touring production for the musical; 'Annie,' for which I was offered a part. Participating in this production with real industry professionals inspired me to do more with my voice. I started studying for a degree in popular music at the age of eighteen and haven't looked back since. Since then, I have been an active performer in bars, hotels and festivals. Take a look at my professional work -
Singer/Dancer, Shooting Star Entertainment (Mallorca, Spain): April 2017 - current: I currently work as a singer/dancer in a touring production around Mallorca, Spain. The act that I am part of is an Abba tribute.
Self Employed Singer (Mallorca, Spain): June 2017 - current: On my nights off I have been pro-active, and have booked my own gigs in bars. I have compiled my own set list and I use backing tracks as an accompaniment. I hope to do this in between contracts in the future.
Singer/Guitarist Duo (Perth, Scotland): Sep 2015 - March 2016: I worked as part of a duo - with a guitarist - performing 3 hour sets in local bars around my hometown. Repertoire varied from 60s to current chart hits. The duo came to an end when my guitarist moved away and I became busy with educational committments.
Percussionist/Samba Dancer/Vocalist, Rhythmwave (all over Scotland): Sep 2013 - Sep 2016: I played small percussion instrument whilst fronting the large afro-brazillian samba drum band through dance. As well as dancing and playing percussion instruments, I sung in the few songs that featured vocals. With Rhythmwave I performed at bars and public events all over Scotland. I played at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festical (Inverness) twice, with one time being on the main stage.
