I’ve been taking private ballroom and Latin lessons for 5 years with ex British Championship competitors Mark Shaw and Maxine Brown. I'm nearly alway partnered by Shaw.
See: http://www.dancesportinfo.net/Couple/Mark_Shaw_and_Maxine_Brown_4383/Details.aspx
Shaw has choreographed and appears in a dance sequence in an ITV adaptation of The Forsythe Saga, and appeared with Brown the in the 2002 film Al’s Lads, directed by Richard Standeven, Shaw as an extra, and Brown as a nightclub dancer.
Shaw has adapted his programme to my viusal needs. This has been a rewarding experience for both of us. I'm the first visually impaired student taught by Shaw although he ejoys the challenge.
