Shanell has a network of 5,000+ supporters across media and personal outreach channels. Her listenership is largely based in the United States with added listener communities in Germany, France, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.

Shanell has partnered with community advocates for social justice and change throughout the Greater Boston area using music to engage communities in conversations about important social issues. Shanell’s efforts as an artist and advocate have been recognized by Greater Boston universities and community members.

Shanell is a musician with 20+ years of experience playing the piano and singing. She has over 10 years of experience as a songwriter, composer, instrumental and vocal arranger, and guitar player. She has 6+ years of experience as a musical director and has experience leading choirs.

Shanell released a 5-track EP in 2016 and has since released 4 singles. She has collaborated with prominent local artists in Boston, MA, playing in local venues including The Middle East Nightclub in Cambridge, MA where she opened for Christon Gray and Dee-1. Shanell has sung backgrounds with artists including Donald Lawrence, Jason Nelson, and JJ Hairston.

Shanell currently collaborates with producer and artist Lukus Simari and producer, composer, and artist Emmanuel Blethy.
